Purpose

The Arab world has gained significance due to its biggest oil reserves in the world, vast area & strategic geographical position. India has had trade ties with the region dating back to the earliest settlements but it has always been at a rather low level. India has always extended unequivocal support in the international fora to the Arab countries. Moreover, Indian professionals form a major portion of work force in the Arab countries and continue to contribute to economic prosperity of the region. The Congress is an initiative to further consolidate Indo-Arab ties for the benefit of India and Arab countries.
